What it is

A mirror with a stopwatch and a very good ear. Aloud listens while you rehearse and shows you pace, pauses, pitch variance, and energy as you speak, then hands you a Session Card: what happened, what improved, and one thing to try next. It is built to help you walk in calmer, not to grade you.

The two laws

Your voice never leaves the tab. Every sample of audio is captured, analyzed, and stored on your device. No audio, transcript, or derived voice feature is ever sent over the network, not for sync, not for analytics, not anything. The full detail is on the privacy page.

We coach delivery, never worth. Aloud measures how you speak, not who you are. There are no confidence scores, no charisma ratings, no leaderboards, no streaks, and no shame. Progress shows up as the tool deepening around you, not as a number climbing.

How it works

You rehearse in Journeys: The Rooms (Interview, Talk, Defense, Pitch) and The Craft (skill paths like The Pause). Each stage names one observable behavior, and it opens for you when the microphone actually hears you do it. One take at a time, no rush.

Three lenses look at the same take:

• Delivery: how you sound. Live, on-device, always free.
• Language: what you say. Vocabulary, prose, and flow, from an on-device transcript.
• Articulation: how the words land. Word clarity, in your own accent, never a score of it.
